The Washington Post reported on the 22nd that according to insiders, the US Internal Revenue Service is about to reach an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to allow immigration officials to use tax data to verify the names and addresses of suspected illegal immigrants. Normally, personal tax information and personal name and address are considered confidential information within the US Internal Revenue Service and are closely protected. Illegal disclosure of tax data will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
Since taking office, US President Trump has signed multiple executive orders declaring a state of emergency at the southern border and comprehensively stopping illegal immigration. At the same time, the US government has taken various measures to forcibly expel illegal immigrants.
